Taiwan's first PET flat container closed recycling station was jointly built by Biogreen, Carrefour and Jinyuanfu Packaging at Carrefour's Kaohsiung Aihe store and will be officially opened on August 28, 2024.

In response to the Ministry of Environment's 2025 plan to collect and recycle flat packaging materials, Bio-Green, Carrefour and Jinyuanfu Packaging are working hand in hand to take another step towards sustainable carbon reduction.

The type of plastic recovered at the recycling station is No. 1 PET plastic. Carrefour will be used as a collection station and handed over to Bio-Green for cleaning and granulation. Jin Yuanfu will then make it into flat packaging materials and supply it to Carrefour's packaging products. The closed cycle can not only reduce the use of new plastics, but also reduce carbon emissions by 56%.
